How to Become a Member
The point of entry for TMA membership is a local TMA Component Medical Society (CMS). There is an exception for physicians who live and practice in a county in Tennessee where there is no CMS; those physicians may join the TMA directly.
To begin, complete an application (online | PDF). Upon receipt, your completed membership application will be forwarded to the appropriate local medical society. Once approved at both the state and local level, you will receive a New Member Welcome Kit, including a membership certificate and card. In the interim, you will be granted "pending membership status" giving you access to members-only services.
