The American Medical Association helps doctors help patients by uniting physicians nationwide to work on the most important professional and public health issues.

 

The TMA and the AMA are not unified; physicians belong to either or both. We work closely with the AMA, however, to achieve success on a national level. Membership in the AMA is strongly encouraged.
